The time is upon us, when traditionally, fashionistas of the globe descend feverishly upon the island boutiques with the shopping fervour of Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton rolled into one. Sharpen your handbags ladies, it's all about knowing where to go!

Island Style at Sal de Ibiza

We heard that Sal de Ibiza's gorgeous out-of-town outlet on the Ibiza - Santa Eulalia road had a extremely cool range of bohemian style designer wear, many pieces made exquisitely by Ibiza designers. Huge closing party fashion kudos! We popped over yesterday and took a few snaps of some of their current stock on the trusty iPhone. A big thank you to the lovely Esmeralda who stepped in as an impromptu model. Feast your eyes, fashionistas!

As you can see, closing party fashion is flirty, fun, feminine and wonderfully stylish. Think delicate, transparent fabrics, intricate and beautiful neckline details and clean, simple lines that skim all the right bits!

TIP: On this note, a word of warning to closing party virgins. The closing party dancefloor can be treacherous after sometimes more than 12 hours of ferral clubbing by perhaps the most dedicated ravers on the planet. There can be a fair amount of debris around, a fact I learned the hard way so please never, ever wear flip-flop style footwear to the closings (unless it is on a beach)!

Elisabeth Landeloos is your charming proprietor who also designs an exclusive range of stunning silver jewellery. Elisabeth trained in the traditional way, as apprentice to a master goldsmith in a dusty old basement in Belgium. Her creations are delicately beautiful and add a touch of class and originality to any outfit.

We particularly loved the design award winning Reddot Nat-2 system, 3 in 1 beach-slipper, shoe and boot.

Not forgetting that if you happen to be around Ibiza Town, a nip over to Jade Jagger's hotter than hot coals jewellery and fashion boutique is a must. Located at 10, Plaza del Mercado Viejo, on the second floor above Inkadelic and oozing with seemingly effortless island style, you'll be glad you did!

Body Beautiful

To get your closing party body ship-shape, gleamingly toned and set to impress, The Stand Up Paddle-surf team based by Nassau Beach Club on Playa den Bossa are offering a fantastic pilates and yoga session ON a paddleboard! Yes, IN the water! Promising to be enormous fun, the session costs just €20 and lasts a one and half hours. It includes basic paddleboard instruction, a pilates/yoga session and an unforgettable experience!
