Aquarium Cap Blanc

Eerie underground cavern with natural fish tanks where you can see many local fish and other sea creatures.

Kids of all ages will love a visit to the Cap Blanc Aquarium to see brightly coloured fish, octopus, rays and other marine creatures in their natural underwater habitat in this eerie underground cavern, an ancient Smuggler's grotto transformed into an aquarium.

Also known as 'Lobster Cave' it was used by fishermen as a vast storage tank for lobsters before going to market but nowadays it's also used as a recuperation centre for injured sea turtles before they are released back into the wild.

With a small bar and terrace jutting out over the sea, it makes a nice afternoon out and is easily reached from San Antonio either by bus (Number 1 to the TRS Hotel, the former Tanit Hotel) strolling along the coastline, or on one of the boat cruises from the harbour.

Opening times

During the summer season the aquarium is open every day, in the winter season only on Saturdays. Please find updated opening times in their Google maps sheet.
