Attending Ushuaïa Beach Hotel regularly in a clubbing capacity, it's easy to forget that the venue has so much more to offer. A world away from my typical visit to Ushuaïa, this time we were invited down to indulge ourselves in the full poolside experience.
Across from the main hotel, a whole oasis of relaxing good times await at the neighbouring Ushuaïa Tower - a breathtaking space that offers everything you could need for a day on la Isla Blanca.
From a variety of top-rated restaurants covering a multitude of cuisines, to lounging around a stunning ruby-red centrepiece swimming pool, Ushuaïa Beach Hotel ticks every box. You feel like you've distanced yourself from the hecticness of the famed day raves a stone's throw away.
Greeted by the welcoming concierge, Gabriella, we were introduced to the staff who would look after us for the day.
I would have been content enough to chill on one of the uber inviting sun-loungers, however there were other plans in store. Escorted up to the terrace overlooking the whole hotel, we had exclusive use of a private VIP balcony with our very own mini swimming pool and luxurious bed. Myself and my tanning partner exchanged looks, as if to say "we could get used to this..."
With enough room for a group of up to ten people to enjoy, these private zones are the perfect place to seek out your own slice of the VIP lifestyle.
Definitely worth the splurge for the day, use of this area includes being tended to by your own personal waiter for the duration of your afternoon. Tending to our needs without ever seeming invasive, Paolo dutifully delivered premium food and beverages from the hotel's extensive menu.
We indulged in a fine selection of freshly prepared sushi from the oyster and caviar bar, as well as a delicious burger and a generously portioned fruit platter that was made to be posted on the Instagram feed.
Before we knew it, the evening was upon us. We'd spent the entire afternoon lounging like royalty in our own little universe.
Whether chilling poolside or living your best life in the privacy of your own terrace, either provide a day to remember. Both hotel guests and fleeting day visitors are welcome, so this is definitely one to add to your pre-holiday planning as an aspirational holiday experience.
Ushuaïa Beach Hotel is hotel, party venue, restaurant complex and poolside haven. It really does have it all.
