Slowly but surely, summer is creeping up on us and that means it's almost time to let Ibiza cast its spell over you. Nowhere on the island will be able to do that quite so convincingly as Wax Da Jam, which has just unleashed its full season line-up.
Oozing summer festival vibes, Wax Da Jam is an island favourite that offers a stripped back, authentic alternative to the Ibiza's clubbing traditional experience in the intimate surroundings of Las Dalias in San Carlos. In 2016, the party is back for four dates, during which you'll be able to get to grips with a solid dose of hip hop, soul, disco and funk.
DJ E.A.S.E of Nightmares on Wax, Andy Wilson and Jon Sa Trinxa will be regulars at all four parties, and alongside them for the opening on Thursday 2nd June is singer/songwriter, DJ and producer, Andrew Ashong, who'll be perfoming live; Negghead will also be in attendance in the club. On Thursday 14th July it's the turn of renowned vocal artist and beatboxer, Shlomo, who'll take the helm in the Garden, while later in the club, Defected boss Simon Dunmore will wheel out some classics to deliver an exclusive funk and disco set. Thursday 11th August will usher in the island debut of French DJ and producer, Guts, who'll be playing with a live hip hop and soul band. And finally, for the grand finale on Thursday 8th September, Massive Attack's founding member, Daddy G, will be joined by house don, Kaytronik, who'll also be playing on the island for the first time ever. Nightmares on Wax, Negghead and Shovell the Drum Warrior will also be on hand to see out the season in style.
It's an eclectic mix that showcases that inescapable Wax Da Jam magic - if you fancy experiencing a lesser known side to Ibiza, this is the place to do it.
