After a string of will they, won't they one-night stands in past years, Stefano Noferini's label and party series Deeperfect and San Antonio super-club Eden finally made things official in 2025.
Vowing to take their affair to the next level, an eight-week early-season residency has been booked.
Having just touched down on Ibiza after winter slumber, this clubbing journalist was only too happy to attend and officiate opening night, to lock in my first party of the season. Let's go!
Before hitting the club, we first trawled San An town with delusions of a pre-party pit stop, only to be met with quiet streets and bars calling last orders. It begged the question, where was everyone?
Considering it is only late-April, and Ibiza’s big club opening weekend still days out at this point, we were perhaps a little too optimistic. While it felt like a foreboding omen at the time, we shouldn't have worried. The island is only just coming to life.
It turns out that Ibiza’s eager party people were one step ahead of us and already vibing out on Eden's dancefloor to the beat of DJ and producer duo Late Replies.
Deeperfect has long backed the London-based twosome, first scouting and signing Kas and Josh back in 2021. In the years since, their ascent as one of the UK's most promising dance exports has been solidly backed. Deeperfect is a true incubator of talent.
As is their hallmark, Late Replies delivered an absolute schooling in Deep-Tech grooves.
Firing out selections rich in rolling basslines and skippy percussion, the kind that sends fists pumping and lips pursing to every slick transition and leaves their effortlessly cool booth bravado to be desired.
Having only been released last month, Deep House number Move Your Body from up-and-coming Hungarian Legit Trip was hot to the touch. This track shows future hit potential as one of the lads’ peak-time drops.
Label boss and Italian supremo Stefano Noferini was soon to follow suit, championing the underdog and flexing his well-tuned ear on an odyssey of undiscoverable IDs.
Late Replies are just one fine example of the rising talent Stefano has nurtured under the Deeperfect umbrella. In the weeks to come, the label's cutting-edge roster will play as prominent a role in each masterfully curated line-up.
