The Fantasia Ibiza Festival (FIF) returns to Ibiza this spring in its second edition, stronger than ever.

With the aim of promoting the island’s dynamic local art scene in an interactive, multidisciplinary manner, the FIF brings together creativity, art, and the marriage of Ibiza’s melting pot of cultures to create a truly unique experience.

The three-day event -  coinciding with the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Ibiza as a UNESCO World Heritage Site - will play host to a plethora of stimulating live music, painting, performances, conferences, and exhibitions.

As Lucia Barbiero, creator of the Fantasia Ibiza Festival, remarks: "Ibiza has been and continues to be the birthplace of artists from around the world who choose this island as their home. Together, they create this essence that we love so much and that we call 'the other side of Ibiza”. The goal of FIF is to showcase Ibiza's artistic side, seeking to transcend the typical perceptions of it as a destination of nightlife and leisure, sunshine and sea alone.

The association with the 25th anniversary of Ibiza as a UNESCO World Heritage Site is no coincidence: one of its guiding principles is to place Ibiza firmly on the map as a destination that champions sustainability, social inclusion, multiculturalism, and artistic endeavour in all its forms.

The eclectic line-up includes leading musicians, performers, graffiti artists, plastic artists and the participation of the Ibiza Art School, a mainstay of the local art scene.

FIF 2024 will be held in emblematic locations in Ibiza city, such as Parque Reina Sofía, Baluard de Sant Pere, Plaza del Parque, Paseo de Vara de Rey, and at EBUSUS cultural society.

Free to attend, The Fantasia Ibiza Festival, aspires to establish itself as an annual multidisciplinary art gathering in the streets of the historic centre of Ibiza Town, while simultaneously fomenting the island as a cultural destination accessible to a wide audience.

So, this 17,18 and 19 May, join us for three days of creativity, culture, and community celebrating Ibiza's burgeoning local art scene.
