Rio Ibiza reopens for summer 2024
Every Sunday
Combining a rooftop steakhouse, sea view restaurant, and cocktail lounge, Rio Ibiza is back for another season of fine food, classy cocktails and kicking sounds.
After the reopening 27 March the action continues with Sunday sessions by DJ Policy, Ibiza's no.1 urban DJ. Dine, drink and dance to his classic R&B, Hip Hop, Garage, Reggaeton and other old-school dance classics until 5:00 in the morning. Entrance is free.
Dies Musicals - classic concerts
4 April, 6 April, 12 April, 14 April
The Dies Musicales cycle of classic concerts continues in April with four concerts - held on the 4th, 6th, 12th and 14th - by the groups 'El Bosque de Tànit', 'Half Blood Trio', 'Un pares de tres' and 'Antic Balàfia ensemble'. The group 'Un viaje a Ebusus' is also scheduled to perform, date as yet unconfirmed.

Ibicine Film Festival
Every day from 12 April until 21 April
Celebrating its 7th edition, the Ibicine Film Festival will be held from 12 to 21 April 2024 in Cultural Centre Can Ventosa in Ibiza Town. Showcasing the best of professional cinema on the island, this year’s festival includes the following categories: short films, feature films and projects.
Ibiza Marathon
13 April
One of the island’s flagship sporting events, the Ibiza Marathon attracts 1000s of runners - both professional and amateur - each year. Designed for athletes of all levels (marathon, 22 km and 12 km), it also features a sunset finish line by the sea. What better chance to combine an adrenaline rush - whether competing or looking on - with enjoyment of the natural beauty of the island!
Opening of Amante
19 April
Exclusive beach club and restaurant Amante reopens, inviting gourmets to enjoy its exquisite contemporary Spanish and Italian dishes while admiring the venue’s spectacular sea views. Definitely an opening you won’t want to miss!
Opening Casa Maca
19 April
With its glorious views of Ibiza Town and Formentera, agrotourism hotel/restaurant Casa Maca is a superb setting in which to relish top-notch Mediterranean cuisine.
Come down to the opening of the new season on what promises to be a very special evening.
Ibiza Half Marathon
20 April
This 21 km challenge takes runners from San José to Ibiza Town, via scenic south coast landmarks such as Cala Jondal and Sant Jordi. The Ibiza Half Marathon will be accompanied by musical performances and sports demonstrations.
Registration is €30.
Gala with international ballet soloists
21 April
One for the culture vultures, this gala event sees the International Ballet Company present an evening of classical ballet with top-flight international soloists. Held in the Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza in Santa Eulalia, this is an opportunity to enjoy classical dance masterpieces.
International Music Summit (IMS)
24 to 26 April
Returning in 2024 to a new home at the Hyde/Mondrian Hotels in beautiful Cala Llonga, the music industry conference International Music Summit (IMS) will be hosting the annual round of keynote interviews, panel round table discussions, industry tech and networking opportunities. Three days culminate in the spectacular dance event on the ramparts of Dalt Vila, overlooking the town of Ibiza. Details of the party and tickets can be found here.

Beso Beach Triathlon Ses Salines
28 April
Now in its 3rd edition, the Beso Beach Ses Salines Triathlon is a sprint-type event with distances of 750 metres of swimming in the open sea, 20 kilometres of road cycling and 5 kilometres of running.
Entry is open to all.
