All-day adventure experience Formentera With Benefits is back departing from Playa d'en Bossa for summer 2024. Run by seasoned operators Ibiza Boat Club, the laid-back tour has added new perks for the coming summer.
For the past two years, Formentera With Benefits at Ibiza Boat Club has been a great value way to explore our neighbouring sister island.
Formentera is a Mediterranean paradise, unspoilt by mass tourism and commercialisation. It's incredibly picturesque and has some of the best beaches in Europe, yet still feels a little undiscovered. Imagine Ibiza in the '70s, before the big tour operators arrived.
How will you be getting there?
The Instagram-ready luxury vessel is, for all intents and purposes, a floating beach club. Not that you'll be fighting for a bed. Despite having a much higher capacity, all sailings at capped at just 85 passengers, meaning you'll find space and comfort plentiful.
In case you're fearing blazing music too loud for you to think, we'll put your mind at rest. This is not a boat party and there is no DJ. Instead, you can appreciate chilled-out and tropical beats at a respectable volume which enhances the ambience, rather than distracts you from it.
Enjoy an onboard continental breakfast, unlimited drinks, a refreshing hour swim stop, a giant paella cooking show and Café Caleta at sunset on the return voyage.
All these benefits return, so what's new?
Now, Formentera With Benefits departs a whole hour earlier, giving you six hours of spare time to spend at your leisure once docked at the port of La Savina.
Between 11:15 and 17:15, you can branch out and visit the stunning nearby beach of Ses Illetes or go a little further afield to Playa Migjorn. Alternatively, put on your culinary hat and try out some of Formentera's exclusive restaurants. Or, as we like to do, do both!
Aside from the extra hour on Formentera, the other new perk for 2024 is the introduction of tiered pricing. Formentera With Benefits is now cheaper outside of the main tourist season (before 1 June and after 15 September), but also cheaper during the week, Monday to Thursday.
Starting from 20 April and running until late October (weather dependent), this is also the longest season Ibiza Boat Club has ever embarked on.
