With the month of November almost upon is, it's all about the food as Ibiza settles into the low-season. It's also a time for discovering the island, by whatever means you like, though we suggest on foot or bike to discover a wild beauty you don't always get to see during summer. We've still included events that require less moving around, it's all about balance now. Enjoy another side of Ibiza this month.
Autumn food extravaganzas

Celebrating local produce of the island are two of Ibiza's long running festivals that offer great value set menus across a range of restaurants. In and around San Antonio, it's Restaurat, this year showcasing local lamb and traditional desserts. Ibiza Sabor, is island-wide and offers both three-course menus as well as tapas and drinks' deals. For foodies on a budget, these events are for you.

With the heat of the summer sun now having died down, it's the perfect time to get out and about and see the stunning beauty that Ibiza offers by day. Walking Ibiza offers several walks, from the short Wednesday walks to longer ones on Fridays. It even offers a meditative Mindful walk on Tuesdays. Nordic walk fans can join in San Antonio's monthly free events or if you want a more wind-in-your-hair experience, try the weekly running tours from Ibiza's port taking in local sites as you dash along.

Drive in cinema
2 November
We love the idea of drive in cinemas and now there's one on Ibiza, with the last two films for 2019, about to grace the screens at Cala Llonga. Classic alien-in-suburbia film, E.T. is on as is the new biopic of the life of Elton John, Rocketman. Both movies offer audio in English and Spanish, via your FM radio of headphones, clever. It's €20 per car with part of the ticket sale going to support a local cancer charity. Take popcorn!
Saint's days
4 November
Each month there's a fiesta on Ibiza, when a town or village, celebrates its Patron Saint. Head to San Carlos on its main day and see a traditional display of the Ball Pagès folk dance from 12:30 or go in the evening, when there's a dance show by local dance company Eivi-Dance at 19:30. If that's not enough, there's a concert given by the Aires Formenterencs musical group in the Church Square at 21:00. Mingle with locals and soak up the atmosphere.
Vinyl heaven

Head to the inaugural Ibiza Vinyl Club event at Las Dalias Café, where from 18:00 you can meet, swap and play music with other like-minded folk.
