Get in for Cinema Paradiso outdoor Ibiza movie experience 2018

Cult classics, Hollywood blockbusters and foreign language art house films in the summer 2018 movie line-up still to come.

Get ready for a summer of movies with Cinema Paradiso for a a set of fabulous films to see your through the rest of the Ibiza summer at its atmospheric location in Ibiza's walled citadel of Dalt Vila.

New this year are special late showings, starting at 23:30. These make for the perfect al-fresco entertainment either post-dinner, after a few drinks or even ahead of your night out.

Two of the more interesting options are Get Out on 23 August and Patti Cake$ on 30 August.


Get Out is the 2017 psychological thriller which explores the issues of race and interracial relationships. Expect plenty of jumpy moments and plot twists.

A story about an obese white woman, Patti Cake$, shows the protagonist striving to make it in a career as a female rapper and the obstacles she faces. It's central theme is about breaking misconceptions and stereotyping.

Get booking now for August and September before tickets sell out as July's films are already sold out.


Here are some highlights of the best of the rest, starting with modern masterpiece The Wolf Of Wall Street, directed by Martin Scorsese's on 16 August.

In a career-defining role, Leonardo Di Caprio stars as Jordan Belfort - the real life stockbroker who ran roughshod over the New York stock market in the 80s. Both a cinematic riot and a cautionary tale of excess.


The series closes on 27 September with the Coen Brothers' award-winning The Big Lebowski. A darkly comic crime caper, the cult movie is famed for scene-stealing performances from its three stars: Jeff Bridges, John Goodman and Steve Buscemi.

They play close-knit losers with an obsession with bowling, who subsequently get caught up in a game of mistaken identity.
