This Saturday 24 October sees the welcome return of Energy Week with one whole week of rejuvenation, the perfect antidote to end-of-season hedonism. Throughout the week up until 30 October, Energy Week will be offering attendees the chance to experience some excellent personal development activities based around quality of life, welfare, nutrition and natural healing.
Hosted at Agroturismo Sa Talaia, the event promises more than 50 different activities including yoga, meditation, dance, diving, fitness and personal coaching sessions. As well as all these various activities there are many scheduled workshops covering things like peaceful thinking, voice-awareness, stress management and quantum healing.
The first day kicks off with a health fair featuring an organic market, meditation circles, barefoot walking, coconut oil massages, vegan and raw food cooking classes and a concert with Tibetan singing bowls amongst many of the things on offer. Children are catered for with introductory classes to yoga, Tibetan bowls and how to make healthy snacks.
Agroturismo Sa Talaia provides the perfect setting amidst some beautiful gardens with the pretty stone-built accommodation in its centre. The venue is well-equipped with 12 gorgeous rooms, with a range of facilities. With wellness at its core, it has long been a place to escape the stresses of life. It offers vegan and vegetarian food as well as a-la-carte breakfasts plus healthy and tasty snacks and superfood-based milkshakes throughout the day.
The program includes two trips, one of which is a boat trip to Sunday drummers at Benirrás beach and a hike to the highest point of the island. Should people wish to just go and relax and eat healthy food all week, then they are free to do so – activities are optional. Around 15 different locations across the island will be participating in Energy Week; these include dance and yoga studios such as Bliss House and Casa Ibango.
Over the years, Energy Week has developed into an activity-led event based on feedback from participants who wanted more outdoors and nature-based things to do. It is now a top holistic event on the island: “We want to give something back to the island and appreciate the beauty and healing powers of Ibiza after a stressful summer season,” say its organisers.
Tickets are available via Ibiza Spotlight if you want to take advantage of this great week of renewal of body and mind.
