Due to the recent floods, the 2025 event will exceptionally take place in the village of Sant Jordi.
Each October, the Ibiza salt pans transform into a fascinating stage for the 'Fira de la Sal' (Salt Fair), a unique tourist and cultural event dedicated to celebrating the heritage and culture intertwined with traditional salt collection.
Scheduled for the weekend of 17 and 18 October, this event, set in the Natural Park of Las Salinas, promises a rich array of activities that pay homage to the time-honoured practices associated with this ancient industry. It also emphasizes the remarkable natural environment where these salt pans operate.
