Once again, the neighbourhood of La Marina, in the port of Ibiza town, is transformed into a giant chessboard for a one-day chess event on Saturday 16 September from 10:00 to 20:00 h. Taking place in the Plaza Sota Vila, tourists, professional players and amateurs are invited to enjoy this classic sport.
During all day you'll be able to enjoy chess-related activities:
- Blitz Space for amateurs from 10:00 to 20:00 h, at the marquee of the Plaza Sota Vila.
- Simultaneous chess game given by FIDE master Nicolò Napoli, from 11:30 to 13:30 h. Places limited to 30 players.
- Stand Chess-Amics, from 16:00 to 18:00 h, at the marquee of the Plaza Sota Vila.
- Flash tournament for federated members, valid for international rankings, from 18:00 to 20:00 h. Places limited to 30 players.
