La Cava has earned its place as one of the best hangout spots in town. Located on the pedestrianised square of Vara de Rey, it has long been a meeting place for locals and tourists and is one of the best places for people watching.
La Cava serves up a variety of classic Spanish tapas dishes, alongside modern, house specials based on worldwide flavours and utilising as much local produce as possible.
The carefully selected menu includes all your favourite tapas, such as padron peppers or the classic patatas bravas. Look out for the 'crunchy' calamares and smoked sardine escalivada. For those particularly hungry there are some tasty meat and chicken dishes.
80% of the products are locally sourced, they even use olive oil from olives grown and pressed on the island.
Coffees, speciality teas, exotic gins, classic cocktails and of course Cava make up their excellent drinks list, to be enjoyed inside or out on the popular terrace in front of the bar.
