Bar Costa, in the peaceful, pedestrianised heart of Santa Gertrudis village, is a friendly meeting place to celebrate the time-honoured Spanish tradition of curing meat. With a fine selection of hams, cecina (dried beef) and tuna from around Spain the sandwiches and tapas here are extremely popular.
Outside, the terrace is always full and with more waiting hopefully in line to be seated. Inside is cosy, with roaring fires in winter and walls adorned with the works of local artists.
