The hunt for the Pacha escapees is now over, as we've tracked down the last familiar name, Pete Tong, to his new home in... Ushuaïa!
Tong is sticking with Fridays, but that's about all that he's sticking with, as his new night Le Grand Bazaar will be quite a transformation from past endeavours: a fresh, open-air, daytime location, with exclusively superb underground sounds.
Quality is clearly the name of the game, with artists like Hot Natured, Fatboy Slim and Carl Cox already locked in to play Le Grand Bazaar and beautiful artwork designed by lauded british artist Damien Hirst, re-imagined by Matt Twist for the party.
Le Grand Bazaar parties will run from lunchtime until midnight and, in true Tong fashion, be recorded for broadcast across America on Clear Channel's Evolution Radio and around the world via numerous international parternships.
“When I started thinking about the Le Grand Bazaar concept it was inspired by Ushuaia and the possibilities the venue offered. I'm very excited to be working with the Ushuaia team, I think they have genuinely changed the face of the island and have offered something new. I'm looking forward to making Fridays completely unique, bringing daytime clubbing back to the island with an incredible lineup of underground and global names, and also to dreaming up more crazy and inspiring events with Ushuaia this summer and beyond.”

It's a short but sweet season for Tong, running from the 5th of July to the 30th of August, but if you don't snooze on getting tickets, you can be one of the happily screaming voices on radio making listeners mad with jealousy.
Two ticket types are available now from Spotlight, Early Entry Tickets (entry before 5pm!) at 30€ and Standard Tickets at 50€.
