Firstly, a point of clarification, about which there is little else you can do but laugh. On April 1st 2010 (yes, April Fool's Day), Mixmag published a blog entry stating that Ibiza was due to have a fallow year in 2011, to allow time for the clubs to renovate, give clubbers a break, etc, etc. Unfortunately, and such is the gullibility of the modern mind, other dance music sites later took this and regurgitated it, many to continue the joke but others re-publishing as gospel truth. So for all the suckers, of course Ibiza is open. Not only is the island gonna be open, but after the best summer in a few...it will be positively spread-eagled!

We'll be following up early in the New Year with our ever popular Clubbing Previews fresh for Ibiza 2011 but latest rumblings on the island point to more of the same from Amnesia, a shuffle and stengthening of the pack at Space, even more improvement for Pacha, DC10 very much open and thriving, Es Paradis continuing on the up, whilst there is a bit more uncertainity over the schedule at Eden and Privilege. Meanwhile, Ibiza Rocks change day to Wednesday and will look to tear up the rule book once again and the Kiss/Diva/Le Masque venue could be back in the fold.
And never fear.....all the big bad ugly mof'in parties will be back in 2011; Guetta, Swedes, Cream, We Love, Cocoon, Circo Loco, Carl Cox yadda yadda yadz.
