elrow goes to [UNVRS] for Ibiza 2025

Buckle up. Starting 7 June and continuing weekly until 4 October, elrow goes to [UNVRS] for Ibiza 2025. It becomes the first residency announced at the brand-new hyper-club.

News broke late last night, first to a select 500 guests who had gathered at the Phenomena Experience Cinema in elrow's hometown of Barcelona. Very soon after, it rippled outwards to cities such as New York, London, Madrid, Lima, Milan and Tokyo before flooding online.

As you can see from the promotional trailer above, no expense has been spared. Truly cinematic in delivery. That's a theme likely to continue once the parties get underway.

Founder and creative director of elrow, Juan Arnau Jr. (pictured left, below), had this to say about the high-profile move: "At the end of last season, we had reached the limit of what we could do creatively on the island.

This new concept allows us to integrate cutting-edge technology into our themes, from aerial acrobat engines to animatronic characters, creating worlds that blur the line between the physical and the digital, allowing us to take our shows to a level never before possible."

Instead of the dozen or so themes that elrow has been using down the years, in Ibiza 2025 it will hone its focus on just four favourites on rotation. They are Hallucinarium, Kaos Garden, Sambowdromo do Brasil and Nowmads.

These will all be redesigned versions of the existing concepts, each supercharged for the state-of-the-art new venue.

The annual tradition of introducing a new theme at the closing party remains.

This interstellar alliance between two production superpowers will introduce a new dimension for elrow parties. The action will switch from a stage-centred experience to a dynamic environment where every corner of [UNVRS] is involved.

[UNVRS]'s doors are still many months away from opening, but already we can get a sense of how high the bar is being set.

Further elrow news, including line-ups, will have to wait for now, but this unexpected early Christmas present has certainly got tongues wagging.
