All-day Sunday-party Nido has always platformed live performers alongside DJs. In the last twelve months alone, it has handed bookings to acts as diverse as Kora, Soft Changa and Elisa Elisa, proving that there's more to electronic music than simply selecting and mixing records.
This coming Sunday 29 December, it showcases yet another, but you may well be familiar with her.
At the first of two more parties at Las Dalias and Akasha before the mid-winter pause, Nido hosts Francesca Lombardo's new live show Oomph.
Frequent visitors will no doubt be familiar with her DJ sets (pictured below) already. She can often be found spinning at Anthony Middleton's Ordinary People night. However, this new project will facilitate artistry of a different kind.

Francesca debuted the show at Xibalba Festival in Mexico City last month. Now, it is ready to grace Ibiza.
Just like her DJ sets, you can expect dreamy soundscapes, stirring melodies and hypnotic rhythms. The difference being that her music will be performed live in the moment, with Francesca adding her own vocals.
Pulling from a discography that spans some of electronic music's most respected labels, including Crosstown Rebels, Mobilee, Poker Flat, Bedrock, fryhide and her own Echoe, Francesca has no shortage of excellent music to share with us.
Most recently, she released It All Starts With A Star with Francesco Tristano on Maison D'Etre, which will surely feature prominently in the set. You'll have to be in attendance to find out.
The following Sunday, Nido returns for its first party of 2025, but last party before Las Dalias and Akasha's annual January break.
Adding further poignancy, the day after is Three Kings national holiday throughout Spain. That's a double excuse to come out and party.
Another friend of Akasha, Matthias Tanzmann (pictured below) is back for the occasion. He'll play twice on the day, once outside in the garden and later inside Akasha by night.
Joining the Moon Harbour boss on 5 January are Igor Marijuan, Cris44 and Tom Zeta.
Remember, Nido starts outside from midday in parallel with the market and has free entry for all, including children, until 20:00. Afterwards, it becomes adult-only when everything moves inside to Akasha and tickets become essential.
