D'Julz celebrates 20 years of Bass Culture

Party in Parisian paradise with D'Julz at Rex Club this weekend.

We could list many reasons why one might enjoy a fancy pants pitstop in Paris (the Eiffel Tower, the Mona Lisa, the friendly welcome - said no one, ever), but the one that will make you lot sizzle is D'Julz swinging into the booth at Rex Club this weekend.

The French producer and DJ is back at the influential Parisian club on Saturday 18 February to celebrate 20 years of Bass Culture, the club's longest ever residency. Joining him for the session this Saturday will be Dyed Soundorom (event page here), while on selected dates in the coming year, Derrick May, Lil Louis and Seth Troxler will all be weaving some dancefloor wizardry.

For those of you who aren't au fait with the clubbing scene in France, have a little watch of this DJ Sounds documentary, which features D'Julz and should give you a taster of what you need to know about our Gallic friends' scene. And an impression of Parisian dancefloor vibes, which counter preconceived notions of national stereotypes (see first para).

See you on the Eurostar, yeah? Mine's a champagne.
