Word up chicos and welcome to a deliciously jam-packed week on the White Isle, in which Ibiza Spotlight takes over El Salon for Carl Cox's The Last Chapter at Space. Hurrah! Let's all shout it together - hurrah!
So yes, Ibiza Spotlight makes a habit of hosting El Salon at Space throughout summer (there have been two dates so far, with two more to come), but this Tuesday 2 August is the only date in which we join forces with Carl Cox to bring clubbers to their knees courtesy of some clued-up tastemakers - this time in the form of La Comunidad cohorts, Pepo Lanzoni and Jonathan Tena.
Now, for those of you who don't know, La Comunidad is one of the island's oldest techno parties, having started way back in 2002. Pepo Lanzoni started off playing packed out parties at the Jockey Cala Jondal, and when that ended he moved to the Friday night slot at Space. Before he knew it, a few one-off appearances turned into a five-year residency, where he took the helm with techno bangers in the main room and Jonathan Tena spearheaded movement over on the terrace. So it's fair to say you're in safe hands with a duo who know Space inside out, and who are back for a rare, one-night-only appearance.
Come and join us in El Salon for a night of quality sounds, chupitos of hierbas and undoubtedly, lots of silly dancing. Coxy, La Comunidad and us lot would love to see all your smiling, happy faces.
