There's more proof today that Ibiza isn't just about electronic music, as the Santos hotel complex in Playa d'en Bossa has just announced it'll be bringing acoustic sessions to the island over eight dates this summer.
Dorado Live Shows will take place at the Santos Dorado boutique hotel on the shores of the famous beach between 8 PM and 11 PM on selected Thursdays, and will showcase the very best in acoustic live performers. Some big names have signed up for our listening pleasure, including L.A. who'll kick things off on 9th June, Vinila Von Bismark & The Frigolos on 23rd June, Is Tropical on 7th July, Dorian on 21st July, Monarchy on 4th August, Mystery Jets on 18th August, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis and Uncle Sal on 1st September, and rounding off the series on 15th September will be We Are Scientists.
There'll be seafront views of Dalt Vila and Formentera, an unbeatable, laid-back vibe and a different Ibizan flavour to savour. And once the concert has reached its al fresco crescendo you'll be able to continue the party at the hotel's Backstage club, where resident DJs Colin Peters, Wild Wolf and other guests will be spinning the tunes to see us through till morning.
