The Redlight 2016 line-ups have landed

You've been waiting long enough, so here's the full crew for 2016.

The Redlight dismantled Sankeys in its debut season last summer, becoming the hype party of the year and gaining a legion of followers who've no doubt been eagerly waiting its garage and house focused line-up arrangements for 2016.

The time is here and the time is now, as within our clutches waiting to spill out onto the table are the line-ups for its 18-date season. The party, which this season takes the Monday slot, kicks off on with the opening on 30th May, with UK garage phenomenon DJ EZ headlining. He can confidently wear the label ‘legend' and is highly esteemed on a global level after exporting what was considered a London sound to other corners of the world. The first DJ ever to do a Boiler Room set, he's a bit of a wizard and you may have seen him flexing his finesse with a 24 hour nonstop mix, livestreamed in aid of Cancer Research.

Performing alongside DJ EZ in the LAB is another champ behind the decks, Matt Jam Lamont, and underground producer Flava D. Lamont is a DJ, producer, A&R and Kiss FM radio presenter who is hailed as the Godather of Garage and will be showing off that well-earned title with 18 massive shows. In the Basement you have Defected's rising star Sonny Fodera (who joins the Redlight team this summer with a total of 11 shows), house and garage queen Sam Divine (who's confirmed for 10 shows), and last year's resident and hot underground bass house producer Low Steppa (who returns this summer for a total of seven shows). It's already looking delicious.

After such a strong debut, Sankeys is set to up its game and push the brand's evolution on the White Isle. Working again with its partner Ibiza Rocks, together they've secured some high profile heroes. This includes New York house figureheads Todd Terry, who returns for six shows this summer, as well as Grammy Award winner Todd Edwards who'll be back for one show on 8th August.

From the opening party on 30th May through to closing on 26th September, the talent force just keeps coming, with artists pitching up from across the house and garage genres. One date to highlight and consider adding to your clubbing baskets is 18th July, when Shadow Child presents Food Music, the record label launched alongside Kry Wolf who'll of course also appear. Garage Nation will also be making a much welcomed return with DJ Luck & MC Neat on 22nd August.

Sankeys owner David Vincent has shown steely dedication to supporting women of the industry with his recently launched residency Sankeys Sabados. Lisa Chadderton has been announced as the first The Redlight resident after storming the project's ‘Break The Glass Ceiling' DJ competition. She'll be performing in Spektrum as part of the all-girl, Team Sankeys DJ collective, with three other female DJs yet to be announced.

"I am very happy with our line up this summer and I'm particularly excited to hear new residents to the team like Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine and Franky Rizardo. Obviously having Shelter supporting us in the LAB each week is going to make the party even bigger after the hugely successful season last summer at the club, and we thought by combining both parties together it will only make The Redlight even stronger in 2016. This is Phase One of our announcements and we have four-five additions to The Redlight line-ups 2016 in the next few weeks which will be the icing on the cake". - David Vincent, giving us the scoop.

Get ready to assemble under those red lights. Tickets on sale for 20€ until the end of March.
