Ibiza Spotlight has now been the leading portal for all things Ibiza since we went online back in 1999, and for many years before that as one of the first printed guides with maps produced for the island.

Today, we have a team of over 20 people working each year to provide the best local knowledge to ensure the past, present and future visitor to Ibiza squeezes every last drop out of their stay with us.

Our team is growing as our company grows, and we are now looking for several new members to join our current editorial staff.

Clubbing Editor
1st March 2016 - onwards tbc
Full time

The Clubbing Editor will oversee the day to day organisation of editorial content, ensuring schedules and deadlines are met from the editorial team, including our 2016 internship team members.

The role will mainly focus on our clubbing activities, including news, event reviews, music and features, working with our Creative Director, Clubbing Director and non-clubbing Editor to produce creative editorial pieces for both our website and online magazine.

The successful candidate must have excellent Ibiza island knowledge, an essential understanding of the way the island and the music industry within it works and can demonstrate this with past experience in roles relating to an Editor's position.

Further skills required:

- Excellent writing ability with perfect understanding of English grammar and punctuation.

- A serious interest and knowledge of all forms of music, dance music especially.

- An eye for detail and very good organisational skills, which will include chasing up deadlines, ensuring a balanced coverage of island events and proof reading for grammar and correct information.

- An ability to work with others to improve their writing.
