In celebration of twenty years of broadcasting from this little party island, BBC Radio 1 returns with one of the biggest Radio 1 broadcasts yet. In a huge weekend for dance music, Radio 1's Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard will all host live shows and events across three days between Friday the 31st of July and Sunday the 2nd of August.
Radio 1's first broadcast from Ibiza was in July of '95 - an Essential Mix by Nicky Holloway at Manumission at Ku (now Privilege). The radio station has plenty of history with the island, and uses this weekend every year as an opportunity to showcase some of the best electronic talent on the scene, and to give their international community of listeners a taste of what peak season in Ibiza can be like.
