FUSE sets up camp in car park

FUSE champions the final blow-out for Hearn Street car park, London.

On the 21st of February, FUSE London will take over the Hearn Street car park for the last ever all night rave (10pm – 6am) at the EC2 Shoreditch venue. This ex-cotton factory has held a limited number of events since its inception in 2006 and has proven to be popular with a number of London promoters since then. This one final blow-out will be in the reliable hands of Fuse boss Enzo Siragusa and his close-knit troupe. The eight-hour showcase will see residents Seb Zito, Rossko and Rich Nxt joined by favourites Ittetsu, Anthony Difrancesco and Archie Hamilton.

Those familiar with a Fuse night know what to expect. This loyal following recognises that it's not only big name bookings that create the vibe that Fuse is so famous for. All these DJs have proved they can adjust to any set time and impromptu B2B sets; it is this ingenious mix that makes the Fuse experience what it is. Forget the sumptuous lighting and lavish decor that can be found in venues across the city - the Hearn Street car park exhibits zero gimmicks. It epitomises its industrial past with a corrugated iron roof, bare walls, undressed steel beams and a poured concrete floor, the venue mirroring Fuse's minimalistic, stripped back music style.

If you've seen Fuse operate at its home, Village Underground, you will recognise what Enzo and co are all about - no excessive lighting and an on-point sound system that is specifically tuned to that dub techno ‘Fusic' sound - rolling basslines with warm low frequencies that can be heard front to back throughout the venue. The Hearn Street car park has a capacity of 500 and tickets are onto final release - don't miss out.
