Egg London and Amnesia are working together on a new event series, starting on Friday 6th February. London has never before been the location of choice for an Amnesia international event and so naturally the pressure is on to throw a party worth remembering.
Egg London is a sizeable venue, and having been refurbished last year the place is looking pretty sweet. Several levels with different party environments on each can be found within the walls of the London UK based club and Amnesia is going to take over them all.
They're promising Amnesia Ibiza levels of production and dance floor wizardry. Lazers, lights, dancers, maybe an ice cannon (no actual report on this though) and a strong line-up to boot.
Hector Couto, Cuartero, Betoko and Mar-T.
The line-up is almost entirely made up of Spanish talent, a key foundation of the Amnesia story in supporting in-country talent, and it makes sense for this to be the case to show what the Ibizan, and by extension, Spanish, club is all about.
Like the others, Hector Couto is a man of the house, techno and everything in-between persuasion with releases on VIVa, Material Series, Kittball, his own Roush label and more. Cuartero is another well known and respected artist on the scene, with releases across Dice's Desolat and the much loved Saved and Moon Harbour artist run imprints. Breaking the Spanish mould is Mexican born Betoko. Betoko runs his own label - OKO Recordings - and is regularly charted by artists such as Steve Lawler and M.A.N.D.Y.
Lastly, we have Amnesia resident, and one of the key family members who help run the club, Mar-T. He's been involved with the club since the late 90s and understands what Amnesia is all about more than most.
Tickets are on sale now via the links below, but we also have a pair of tickets to give away. Head on over to our Facebook page, comment on the article post on our wall and we'll select a winner on Friday 30th January.
