Cinema, sex and clubbing; If any of these popular past-times tickle your fancy you better head down to Booom! on a Friday night pretty sharpish, as we're fast approaching the half-way point of their unique five-date party, Phantasmagoria.
The concept is the brainchild of Mike & Claire, the couple behind the hedonistic Manumission parties that took Ibiza by storm for over a decade, and after a few years away from the white isle, Phantasmagoria sees them return with a 'love affair between dance, music and cinema'; an albeit slightly toned down, but just as original night, with live film screenings on the outdoor Booom terrace and plenty of live music and performance.
With a few nights already under their belt, we've so far been treated to a performance from British duo The Ting Tings, a spot of acrobatics and some live lesbian action - well this is the couple who had sex in front of an 8,000 strong crowd at Privilege back in the day - so it's anyone's guess what surprises are being planned for the final three nights.
What they have already revealed however is all looking pretty tasty. Tomorrow night (Friday 15th August) in the third instalment of the party, they've lined up a touching tribute to the late Robin Williams with a screening of The Fisher King on the terrace, before resident DJ Craig Richards is joined on the decks by innovative DJ and producer Matthew Herbert, to bring you some 'dark and mysterious house music' inside the Ibiza Town venue.

There'll also be a three-part erotic performance and a live set from French collective dOP, with their distinctive take on electronic music. The trio have become known for their energetic, unconventional, and downright ridiculous antics whilst performing live, a perfect fit for Phantasmagoria by the sounds of it.
For the final two Friday nights in August, the 22nd and 29th, expect to see more live performances from Brooklyn-based disco duo Metro Area, as well as perhaps the most distinctive voice in dance music, Mathew Jonson (on the 22nd), alongside sets from the likes of Magda, Psychemagik, Skream (29th) and The Revenge (29th).
So for a night quite unlike any other on the island, head down to Booom on a Friday night this August, you've got just three more chances to check it out!
