"This mix features some of my favorite tracks I've been playing in the last few months and a couple of my own edits along with some forthcoming releases from my label Bass Culture."

Where and how was the mix recorded?

"At home."

What are the musical influences that have allowed you to arrive at this mix?

"I guess 20 years behind the decks playing house and techno ;)"

In what environment should we enjoy this mix?

"It's a mix aimed at the dancefloor so I guess it would be good to listen to it before going out for a long party night!"


The Plug

You make your debut at Cocoon Ibiza on Monday. What does this mean for you? Is it something you've been working towards?

"It's one of best parties and clubs in the world so I'm very excited to play there for the first time..."

I guess to be a part of Luciano's inner concept and grand return at Cocoon must be a big deal for you too?

"Definetly. Im very happy Luciano's invited me to join him for his new concept and return there. We have known each other for many years, he is a great artist, he always been very suportive of my music... so I'm extremely greatfull."

You've a new collaboration with Cassy which sounds cool. Give us the lowdown on the work.

"Cassy is one of my best friends in this music world. We have been DJ'ing a lot together in the past and we share a similar taste in music, so it was a natural step to do something together in the studio. I'm very happy with the result."

You've been a resident at Rex Club in Paris for quite a few years now. How long exactly? What does it take to be such a permanent fixture at one venue - for both you and Rex Club?

"The Rex is my second home. I learned a lot about DJ'ing there. There are a lot of exciting new clubs in Paris today which I'm really happy about. But the Rex will always be the Rex."

You're celebrating 4 years of your label - Bass Culture Records. What has the journey been like?

"A very exciting new experience with a big learning curve. It's especially amazing to have the chance to work with some of my all time favorite producers and discover new ones."

…and how is the future looking for you and the label?

"I have some very hot releases from Lady Blactronika, John Jastbetzki, Mark Ambrose shcedule on Bass culture at the moment. As for me - I have a new EP coming out on Robsoul after the summer amongst other things."

Lastly, you've some time off on Ibiza. What do you do? Where do you go?

"I hunt for new beaches all the time. There are so many amazing ones on the island! Punta Galera is one of my favourites though."



Biography
