For many on the island this past ticking of season time has been naught but a precursor to the golden month: September. Whilst some parties come to their fruitful end others choose to flex, flirting with more adventurous line-ups and rarer gems in an effort to sate the many whetted palettes of the incoming closing party pilgrims.
Although seemingly Amnesia heavy - each selection represents the weekly high point of three very different musical spheres whilst Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird Closing completes our recommended quartet.
Cocoon
Monday 9th September
Hitting mark after mark, Väth's curatorial flair has graced the island with a slew of strikingly original line-ups. Here, the Terrace promises a thrilling - if not delightfully diverse - journey through sound. Off the back of his previous well-received cross-club appearances Dice will surely make for a fresh-tech spectacle. The pairing of Dixon and Âme - Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann - on the same nightly bill represents an imaginative force to be reckoned with. Expect a soulfully immersive journey into realms of house both deep, weird and warm as the Innervisions veterans sprinkle their infectious eclectic magic upon Amnesia.

Together
Tuesday 10th September
A sure-fire auditory cataclysm awaits. In the Main Room a drum and bass fuelled cohort encompassing cosy synths, breaks, jungle and cannibalistic dub courtesy of the moments' most popular figures is sure to test your cochlear metal. The Terrace though hosts one of the seasons most glittering gaggles with a live PA from Tinie Tempah and his frisky accomplice Labrinth meeting with EDM zeus Steve Aoki - expect abrasive noise, cake and high NRG production.

Cream Closing Party Part 1
Thursday 12th September
The first of Cream's two part closing encore this week sees big room house mix with trance euphoria. Progressive exponent Steve Angello meets with electro hubbub in the form of tight-knit duo AN21 & Max Vangeli under the banner of 'Size Matters': synth, kick and jangling chord trade-offs are sure to fly thick and fast. Oh, and the romantics of trance top the Main Room - Above & Beyond. Lovely.

Keeping to a tried and tested formula, label boss and party starter VonStroke presents his last hurrah of the season in Sankey's bright basement space. Catz 'N Dogz's grooving rhythm, Breach's classic house fare and VonStroke's unwavering grin should combine to form a recipe for body jacking.
