Fatboy Slim Honoured at IMS Legends Dinner

Norman Cook joins a small but prestigious list of IMS Legends Award recipients.

Following in the mighty footsteps of Pete Tong and Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook to his mother) will be honoured in Ibiza 2013 with the third IMS Legends Award, to be presented at the International Music Summit Legends Dinner, held at Cipriani's Down Town Ibiza on Thursday the 23rd of May.

The dinner will be a celebration of Fatboy Slim's long and influential career in the music business, and once everybody has laughed, drank and eaten their way into a food coma, Fatboy Slim (accompanied by Pete Tong and Idris Elba) will head off to host the free party at the medieval fortress and UNESCO world heritage site Dalt Vila.

"It's a huge honour to follow Carl Cox and Pete Tong and be the third recipient of the IMS LEGENDS AWARD. Despite the award title, I am still very much alive and kicking! Ibiza has been a pivotal part in my life and my career and so there is nowhere better than there to receive it. I am looking forward to an evening of looking back but mostly looking forward as I'll also be performing at the fort of the Dalt Vila World Heritage Site for IMS. Ibiza is known for its highs, but this will be the highest location I've ever played from on the island! Expect the summer to start with a smile!" - Fatboy Slim

And one more thing! Do you look like this guy, or know someone who does?

If so, the IMS team would like to get in contact about a fun opportunity connected with this event. Please email promo@internationalmusicsummit.com
