Akasha and Las Dalias plan to serenade the arrival of summer on Thursday 1 May in true Ibizan style - with a fiesta of course! The Season Opening Party is part of the venue’s spring programme.
The northern retreat might be low-key by nature, but its address book of DJs is anything but lacklustre. Two heavyweight headliners of the global electronic scene are confirmed to do the honours.
Firstly, Lee Burridge will serve as the guiding star of the north for the outdoor sundown session in the Las Dalias garden.
With his own island residencies over the years, and select one-offs, the All Day I Dream label boss promises to bring a cult following and signature journeying blend of organic and emotive Deep House. There’s free entry to the garden, as long as you arrive and enter before 20:00.
The party then continues indoors in Akasha’s intimate club room with Melodic Techno master Patrice Bäumel (pictured above).
Positioned central to the dancefloor, Akasha’s booth allows clubbers to get up close and personal as the German DJ and producer takes us on a sonically darker turn, giving a gentle upwards nudge on the bpm.
Island friends Cris44, a resident of whimsical party Nido, and Igor Marijuan, Akasha’s creative director, complete the bill.
Once the summer is officially christened at Akasha and Las Dalias, as well as championing local talent, you can be sure that big-name DJs will be peppered throughout the upcoming programme.
