Monday night Amnesia Presents is set for a hard reboot in summer 2025.
Those of you paying attention will already know that previous incumbent Sonny Fodera is off to pastures new.
Now Amnesia's unpretentious, energy-filled session is redefined, as new hosts Ben Hemsley and Kettama take the hot seats. This new pairing will look after The Terrace every week, from 23 June to 6 October.
After two huge summers at Ibiza Rocks, it always felt like Ben Hemsley was being groomed as a future suitor for Amnesia. And so, during a winter of clubbing ins-and-outs that has completely overhauled the landscape, nature's cycle has fulfilled the prophecy. Call it the circle of life.
The heir-in-waiting spoke enthusiastically about his new appointment.
"Unveiling my latest Ibiza residency at Amnesia is one of the biggest achievement in my career so far. I'm so excited to move to a club of such a high calibre. Amnesia is personally one of my all-time favourite clubs. If you love Trance, Techno and everything in between, this is your party."
Just as Ben has a tendency to reference the sound of a bygone era, his new partner also litters his sets with old school rave influences. Kettama's authentic approach has made him a relatable figure on the current circuit. He makes the perfect foil for his marginally higher-profile counterpart.
With the lads hailing from Newcastle borough North Shields and Galway respectively, it's refreshing to see some blue-collar, working-class representation that's so often overlooked.
The pairing of these two ascending DJs, clearly targets the younger end of Ibiza's market and makes Mondays at Amnesia the place to be once more. They have the world at their feet.
As for Amnesia's plans for the Main Room, well, you'll just have to wait a little longer.
Last year, it leaned into Garage, Dubstep and future bass with the likes of DJ EZ, Sammy Virji, Interplanetary Criminal, Girls Don't Sync and Pat Nazemi. Place your bets now.
Early bird tickets are on sale now and available below. Grab these at the current price and steal a bargain. Future releases will be more expensive.
