Right now, it is just about as still and quiet as Ibiza gets, with Las Dalias' mid-winter pause putting parties on hiatus for a month. On a party island, that month can seem like far longer. Fear not, though, because info on the restart has already landed - and we don't have too long to wait.
Akasha's Winter Opening Party will take place on Saturday, 8 February.
It kicks off the boutique club's series of winter parties with a run of world class DJs and live acts.
Almost a year after he last played at Akasha, Innervision's Frank Wiedemann will perform live as Âme.
One of electronic music's most accomplished composers, Frank Wiedemann sets the benchmark for the calibre of act you can catch in San Carlos between February and March.
In the coming weeks, fellow live acts Rampue (15 February) and another Innervision alumnus in Henrik Schwarz (1 March) are also lined up for appearances.
DJs appearing during this period include hippy patriarch Acid Pauli, ex-Underworld member Darren Emerson, Yulia Niko and Avision. Local talent Valentín Huedo, unders, Iban Mendoza and creative director at the club Igor Marijuan are further names.
This run of parties includes an AXEPT label takeover on 22 February and the return of SlapFunk Records on 28 February.
Sunday's day-to-night Nido also restarts in February.
It begins on 16 February with an outdoor-only edition that is completely free from open to close.
Normal service resumes the following week: outside in Las Dalias' garden from midday to 20:00 before moving into Akasha for the adult-only nighttime leg.
Tickets for the reopening night with Âme (live) and Igor Marijuan are on sale now and available below. For tickets to Nido, follow the link in sky blue above or head to our party calendar.
