For its final fling on Ibiza in 2024, Flash returns to Pikes on Thursday 24 October uniting the tribes of DiY and MFF (Music For Freaks). Both camps are celebrating applause-worthy milestones.
Co-founded by Harry Harrison, Rick Down, Simon Smith and Pete Birch as a reaction against the increasing commercialisation of pay parties, DiY "divided their activities between free parties and legal club nights, acting as a bridge between counter-culture and the mainstream."
Now, 35 years later, they reflect on their disruption to the status quo. Representing them on the night, Grace Sands, DJ Jack and Pezz will be in attendance.
Ten years after DiY's inception, another party brand was just starting out.
Striving to be different (but never taking things too seriously), Music For Freaks has always been committed to presenting the highest quality music. Luke Solomon and Justin Harris formed MFF to give them total artistic freedom.
25 years later, MFF remains a sanctum of creativity. Justin Harris himself and Lil Mark are the DJs playing on the night.
Both camps duel in Freddies to close the night, while Flash's Guy Williams plays both poolside and Plaza Mayor. Ibiza resident Jo Mills completes a line-up bursting with talent.
Flash x DiY x MFF is just part of a frankly exceptionally busy end-of-October run-in for Pikes.
The night before, Wednesday 23 October, David Morales is back one final time. On this occasion, he's joined by Pikes favourite and studio collaborator BLONDEWEARINGBLACK.
Saturday's Pikes House Party continues until 26 October and Sundays At Pikes including its famous roast dinners until 27 October. Finally, Andy Manumission & Pikes present Mondays wraps up on 28 October with another unannounced guest (or two!)
Then there's the sold-out Halloween party on 31 October, followed by Pikes Closing Party with CC:Disco!, Ceri and more on 2 November.
Ibiza's super-clubs may be shut for the year, but Pikes keeps the party going. As ever, you can sign up for free guest list for everything above via the Pikes' website.
