During September, Ibiza's party scene goes into overdrive. If July and August are the months for tourists, then September is designated for the clubbers! You can see this across the island's clubbing programme as the bookers refine their line-ups accordingly.
While Akasha is an outlier in many respects for which the usual rules seldom apply, it too has scheduled a super September.
Here's how the last of its summer parties are shaping up at the moment, with a few more dates still to be announced...
Starting this weekend, Patrice Bäumel goes all night long with his HALO concept on Saturday, 7 September.
The following week, All Day I Dream affiliate YoKoO joins Francesca Lombardo and Bartolomeo for the next instalment of Ordinary People. Musically, that night will be anything but "ordinary". That's before Steve Bug returns on 14 September, with free entry for early arrivals.
On 20 September, SlapFunk Records (pictured below) is back for another night of Minimal from the Dutch underground. The newly released line-up includes Mauro Moreno, Silverlining and Yass & Mali.
21 September is a big affair, as is always the case when Sasha is in town. The veteran DJ has a real affinity with the club, and past attendees will tell you how special his appearances here are. Igor Marijuan is on support.
A Thursday offering presents itself on 26 September for Iban Mendoza's Gala (pictured top).
These parties are extra special, as they start outside in the Las Dalias with free entry from 19:00 to 23:00. Plus, the line-ups are always exciting - and this latest party is no exception.
Iban Mendoza invites the award-winning M.A.N.D.Y., plus Tania Vulcano, SiS, Aracil and more.
Finally, Friday 27 September, sees a rare island appearance from Techno thoroughbred Magda for YOYAKU x WHY?NOT.
Keep your eye out for more announcements still to come. In the meantime, you can find tickets and listings for everything above below. Alternatively, you can visit our comprehensive party calendar.
