Fabled UK club night and record label Love To Be is teaming up with rave-nostalgic feel-good fiesta One More Time Ibiza to celebrate its 30th anniversary. A spectacular one-off show tales place at Eden on Thursday 22 August.
Cherished for playing a pivotal role in the UK’s early House music scene, Love To Be has been a cornerstone of the genre since its inception in 1994.
Regarded as one of the North's original super-club nights and recipient of numerous awards, Love To Be earned its name with cutting-edge club decor, stilt walkers, flamboyant dancers and charismatic hosts.
These unique atmospherics, combined with killer line-ups saw it amass a dedicated following and a lasting influence in the House music world.
Having previously booked legendary artists such as Masters at Work, Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Dave Seaman and Pete Tong, for the anniversary special, Love To Be invites Spanish DJ, producer and Defected regular David Penn to headline.
The founder of Urbana Recordings and an artist known for his energetic live keyboard-playing, Penn will be joined by Love To Be residents Doorly and Trimtone, alongside Griff and Miss Foster.
This line-up is the perfect representation of the brand's legacy that began way back at the Music Factory in Sheffield, UK. What better place to celebrate 30 years than in the music capital of the world?
