Since the current regime took over, but especially in the last few years, Eden has covered a lot of bases and had amongst the most diverse programmes on the island. The club has covered everything, from Tech House to Trance, R&B and Hip-Hop to Drum & Bass.
... and yet, something felt missing - the obvious omission being Techno!
Now, that is being addressed, as Space is bringing Techno back to San Antonio, starting tonight Friday 14 June. A heavyweight line-up is set to be unleashed, with the residency hosting an impeccably crafted bill across both rooms of the club.
Hard Techno peddler Basswell, high-energy producer Brenda Serna, rising French DJ Cassie Raptor and Stripped Down label boss Claudio Ricci are all set for the Discoteque main room.
Meanwhile, next door in the Red Box, record label and festival brand Laster will showcase British phenom Dax J, Anabel Arroyo, Quelza and Rene Wise, each of who will be pushing the tempo to the max.
Later this summer, another huge booking for the town manifests in Cocoon legend Sven Väth. He's joined by the inimitable Dubfire on 28 June.
Techno fans can also count on appearances from the returning Chris Liebing, Fatima Hajji, Marco Bailey, Charlie Sparks, Space 92, Popof, Hito and Avision before the end of summer.
Away from Techno, there are also still dates for Armand Van Helden, Sasha & John Digweed, James Zabiela, Danny Tenaglia, Hannah Wants, Boys Noize, Benny Benassi, KOROLOVA and Late Replies amongst many more.
Not forgetting the almighty deadmau5, who plays the first of two dates next week on 21 June. Huge names all round - and there are still a few dates with line-ups TBA.
