Later this week, Groove Odyssey brings back the beat to the palm-fringed pool and Sundara nightclub of the adult-only Palm Star Ibiza hotel in San Antonio Bay. As ever, it will be joined by a travelling brigade of loyal followers.
Groove Odyssey has been uplifting crowds across the UK, in clubs and on festival stages, for many years. You can expect the same energy to be brought to Palm Star and its takeover at Eden (pictured above) across this four-day event.
Already well established on these shores, GO Ibiza 2024 is an annual early-season getaway with guaranteed sunshine and those all-important Ibizan vibes.
Palm Star is a beautiful venue where you can relax on the Bali beds, cool off in the pool or get amongst it in front of the DJ booth.
The music agenda doesn't need adjusting (if it ain't broke, don't fix it) with soulful Deep House and uplifting vocal House, with splashes of Disco classics, Rare Groove and R&B flavours.
With four full days poolside, you can dance, dip, eat, and drink under the shade of the palm trees throughout the day before descending into the basement nightclub Sundara for the nighttime sessions.
Open to all, this invitation goes out island-wide whether you are a tourist, seasonal worker or full-time islander. Everyone is welcome to walk up and pay at the door.
There are four full days of sun-soaked fun to choose from in total, beginning Thursday 16 May through Sunday 19 May. Day passes can be purchased for each individual day or you can get fully involved and hit the four-day streak.
Priced at €95 per day (reduced to €85 for Ibiza residents with proof of rental or work contract), this is not simply a day pass. Not only do guests get access to the beautiful hotel facilities, live DJs and up-for-it crowd, but attendees will be fully fed and watered all day long.
The price also includes entry to the club night afterwards, whether that be at the onsite Sundara or at Eden.
The door price will be reduced by €10 per hour after 13:00 on each day, meaning late arrivals won't feel short-changed. Great value for all concerned.
The jolly reaches a climax on Saturday 18 May for our personal highlight, when the cavalcade moves to Eden for the pinnacle of proceedings.
Old hands Dave Lee (formerly Joey Negro, above), Jamie 3:36, Spen, organisers Bobby & Steve themselves and friends will be behind the decks for this magical celebration of all things House. Joining them on the mic will be legendary diva Barbara Tucker with a powerful live PA.
