Gorgeous Ibiza locations for your perfectly-preened Insta-feed.

Ibiza and Instagram go together like yin and yang. Everywhere you look, there’s a photo opportunity waiting to be seized, you just have to have an eye for it! (and a camera).

The island is home to some of the world's most Insta-worthy spots, whether it be one of its natural wonders like one of its jaw-droppingly beautiful beaches, or one of its many man-made phenomena that have become synonymous with Ibiza.

Below, you’ll discover Spotlight’s top 10 suggestions for the best places to capture some of the island’s magic to share with your followers. Clean lenses at the ready!

Pacha’s Emblematic Cherries

Across the island, you’ll find Pacha’s synonymous red cherry emblem scattered about towns. But first, you’ll be greeted by the famous flowery IBIZA sign which stands next to the first set of cherries, as soon as you step out of the airport!

Other locations you’ll spot include the Pacha merchandise shops, the club itself, Destino Pacha resort, and the port. You’ll find lots of tourists snapping away with the giant, glossy cherries, all eager to catch a glimpse of the globally renowned brand.

It’s like your own treasure hunt! We’ve given you a few, but we’re sure there’s more to find.

Dalt Vila

Rising above Ibiza Town is one of the island's most iconic landmarks, the fortified old town of Dalt Vila, which offers many marvellous photo opportunities. From the narrow cobbled streets to the majestic views from the high walls, it’s really a photographer's dream. Surrounded by Renaissance walls, topped with a cathedral and featuring parts of an old Moorish wall, every nook and cranny offers something unique.

And if you’re looking for Dalt Vila to be the gorgeous backdrop to your photo instead, rooftop bars at The Standard or Café Montesol offer the perfect mise-en-scene for you to take your snapshot. With this as the background to your latest selfie, you’ll have everyone back home turning green with envy!

Es Vedrà

Magnificent and mysterious, the islet of Es Vedrà is one of Ibiza's most loved treasures. A dramatic limestone rock that rises majestically from the Mediterranean, it gives forth a remarkable aura of peace.

Along with gorgeous golden sunsets that add a warm and toasty backdrop, this location will provide a perfect setting for those scenic landscape shots or your latest thirst trap.

Several boat trips can take you here, with swim stops along the way, as well as many stunning hike paths.

Sunset Strip

Just past the port of San Antonio, you will find one of the most spectacular vantage points of the resort, the Sunset Strip, which didn’t get its name coincidently.

During golden hour, the promenade is bustling with people and faces smiling, as the sun sets perfectly over the horizon, with completely unobstructed views.

Here, you will find renowned bars such as Café Mambo and Café del Mar, from where you can sip cocktails and gaze out to sea. Though it has to be said, during peak summer, you must book a table in advance to ensure your spot, as tourists from all over the island descend on this renowned spot every evening.

Cala Comte

Cala Comte, the location of the famed Sunset Ashram, offers up one of the island’s most vivid vistas and pristine waters and is the perfect beach to perch yourself for a day under the Balearic sun.

There are two stretches of sand, one backed by a rocky coastline, and the other by dunes, giving you a range of backdrops to choose from for your next IG carousel. Come golden hour, it somehow becomes even more beautiful, as the sun reflects off the clear aquas onto your sun-kissed skin. So, cameras out people, get snapping!

Festival Club

The abandoned space of the derelict Festival Club in the hills near San Agustín is a hotspot for urban explorers. Over time graffiti writers and nature have only embellished its crumbling amphitheatre, adding depth and indelible character.

Looking like a scene from a dystopian movie along with the spectacular mountain views, it's worth capturing it all. We recommend reaching here by car and wearing some sturdy shoes, as there’s a lot of rubble and climbing to do to ensure the best angles for your snaps.

Time and Space

Coined 'Ibiza’s Henge', the magical Time and Space monument is the stuff of pure wonder. Located near the beach of Cala Llentia, this basalt monument consists of a semi-circle of 10-metre columns. Before you enter this realm, you'll pass by Fatima's Door, an ancient carved door frame, placed there by the artist as an accompaniment to this assembly. A must-see for any keen Instagrammer.

Though an Elysium for hikers and yoga classes, the spot remains somewhat less known than many other Instagram hotspots across the island. It’s a truly magical place to visit, any time of the day.

Cala Benirrás

A charming road winds its way through hills and valleys, leading to the enchanting shores of Cala Benirrás. This picturesque beach on the island's north coast boasts a blend of sandy stretches and pebbled patches, flanked by rocky formations perfect for exploration. Across the azure waters, lays the eye-catching Cap Bernat, also known as the 'Finger of God' by locals, stands sentinel.

While the famed Sunday drumming sessions, once drawing crowds by the thousands, have ceased, smaller impromptu gatherings now occur daily at sunset. Whether a local or visitor, all are drawn to this natural wonder, gathering in reverent admiration all year round.

Ses Illetes

Formentera is like a paradise found. Just a short boat trip from Ibiza, you will find white sandy beaches, beautiful blue skies, crystalline waters, sprawling salt flats, lagoons and pretty villages that all scream to be snapped.

Unsurprisingly, the island’s most famous beach, Ses Illetes, has been voted the best in Europe and ranked in the world’s top ten on several occasions.

Throughout the summer months, the hashtag #sesilletes flood Instagram with thousands of photos per day, however, despite a popular location, this jaw-dropping playa is a designated nature reserve, which means the Island Council of Formentera is there to help avoid overcrowding.

Plan ahead and wake up early to ensure your spot in this dreamy Carribean-like oasis. It is impossible not to fall in love with it.

Shows

If you're looking for a dining experience that combines great food with live entertainment, there are several spots on the island worth checking out, including STK Ibiza and Lío Ibiza in Ibiza Town's marina, 1742 Nassau Group & Edwin Vinke in Dalt Vila, Zazú Ibiza in Playa d'en Bossa, and the renovated Teatro Pereyra in the centre of Ibiza Town. These venues offer a unique blend of cuisine and entertainment, providing a memorable night out in Ibiza.

With top-tier entertainment by your table, you can expect dazzling dancers, magicians, breathtaking singers and sometimes even acrobatics and pyrotechnics!

On top of this, these kinds of places offer beautiful interiors and backdrops that you can pop straight onto your Insta story - no filter needed. STK even has its own red carpet outside the front, which will have you feeling like an A-list celebrity in no time.
