Spring is in the air and the party organisers at Las Dalias have a spritely step in their feet. After reopening in mid-February, Ibiza's oldest music venue and its intimate club Akasha adds Fridays back to its existing Saturday and Sunday programme. Three-day weekends are back.
This is really the catalyst for the forthcoming summer. Although Akasha is the only game in town at present, we're hurtling towards a busy Easter period and it all starts in San Carlos.
First up this weekend, Ibiza Get Physical get handed the keys on 1 March. The island division of one of dance music's most decorated labels has invited Greta Levska, Trutopia, Corbi and Karlos Sense to the DJ booth.
The following night, we're back in the 300-capacity space. Santiago Garcia, Megablast and Aracil form the line-up for 2 March.
Both these entries in the spring series offer free admission for early arrivals (before midnight on Friday and 00:30 on Saturday, subject to availability). Or, for the modest price of €15 +BF, you guarantee entrance and can arrive when you like. Tickets on sale below.
Sunday 3 March is a bit different because dancing is on the menu from midday right the way through.
Playground Foundation is back this week. Beginning outside in the garden, Sundays at Las Dalias have free admission during the day and welcome all age groups. Only later, after 19:00, do things move inside, become adult-only and ticketed.
Cris 44, Igor Marijuán, Leon de Gaia, Sena and Sturge are among the DJs playing.
Already this year, Steve Bug, Bushwacka, Rampue and Nico Stojan have been brought to Ibiza's northernmost clubbing outpost. Lots more is planned before we even get to tourist season.
