German electronic musician Christian Löffler has released a new single ahead of his live set at Akasha this weekend.
Roused featuring Malou came out on Friday and is the first track taken from Christian's next album, A Life, due April 2024. You can listen to the full track above.
This serves as a little teaser for the weekend, as Christian will be playing in San Carlos. The performance on Saturday 16 December is part of the club's winter series and is sure to contain music from the new album, as well as Christian's amazing back catalogue.
Unlike DJ sets, live sets offer a slightly different experience using an entirely different, if still related, skill set from the artist. Instead of mixing other people's records, playing live recreates the performer's own music in real-time. Although still electronic in nature, it's a more personal performance that allows for improvisation, much like seeing a band or solo singer.
Inside intimate Akasha, playing in the centre of the club and surrounded by partygoers on all sides, this is a fantastic opportunity to witness a real musician up-close and personal.
Where Löffler is concerned, this will involve hair-raising moments that convey emotions that tug at the heartstrings.
Löffler will be supported on the night by Ibizan DJ and Akasha regular Valentín Huedo.
