About Amnesia CLOSING Party
Unquestionably one of the most significant events of summer, very few parties stoke up the hype on the same level as Amnesia's Closing Party. It's the exclamation point of the season, which signals a job well done and offers one final dance before the curtain drops.
The bill is always stacked and the crowd ravenous to go all the way. Throw in the club's cutting-edge production and that indescribable sense of escapism found in the heart of the dancefloor and you have the makings of a special party.

When?
Saturday 14 October, 22:00 to TBA
After a long summer of parties which started at the end of April, Amnesia finishes its season for a marathon stomp-a-thon to end all parties. Very few parties exist that carry the burden of expectation that Amnesia's Closing Party does. What a whopper!
Not only in reputation but in literal size. These parties are known for their extended run time.
Judging by the number of confirmed DJs, that should again be the case this year. Although the exact closing time is yet to be confirmed, we're sure it will include some fabled daylight dancing on the Terraza. Come well-fuelled and raring to go if you intend to last the distance.
Where?
Amnesia - one of Ibiza's most decorated clubs and a brand that wields worldwide influence.
It has two awesome, but completely different dancefloors - and both of them retain legendary status on the island. The Terraza is a clubber's paradise, rectangular in shape with a spring-like mattress of a dancefloor, that reacts to the united rhythm of those moving on it.
Meanwhile, the Main Room is darker and less symmetrical with various tiers. Both are powered by recently installed KV2 audio sound systems and each has a VIP balcony overhanging the dancefloor below.

Who?
We promised a stacked bill and that's exactly what is it.
Closing duties will presumably fall to the giant back-to-back between Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriati. They repeat the feat that has earlier graced both Paradise and Metamorfosi, so they come well-prepped. Aside from that, these good friends know each other's tastes back-to-front.
Monday night's Danny Howard is also involved and will be worth getting down early for, not least to establish your spot on The Terrace. Things will no doubt get busy.
By contrast, the Main Room is a Techno cauldron that threatens to bubble over. You will feel your pressure points tighten and your heart race, as the volume and heat rise on the dancefloor. A veteran of these parties, Nina Kraviz is the head of the pack.
Deborah de Luca and Charlotte de Witte, both of whom starred for Amnesia's in-house Pyramid over the summer, join her to form a powerful trifecta. The gents deserve some representation too and that comes in the form of Charlotte's fiance and formidable DJ Enrico Sangiuliano.
Amnesia residents Luca Donzelli, Cuartero, Mar-T and Caal complete the billing and are dispersed between the two rooms.
Why?
Possibly the most benign rhetorical question to ever be asked. But since you're here, because...
- lovebirds Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano put the romance to one side and slam things out
- back-to-backs don't come any bigger than Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriati. Both men have closed Amnesia Closing Party in the past. This year they share the honours
- subject to clearance from his better half, Seb Zito will be getting up to mischief in the booth
- two of the underground's best young talents Fleur Shore and Ben Sterling get worthy call-ups
- daylight dancing on the Terraza is as good as guaranteed. We can already feel the heat on our faces, eyes closed
- one final opportunity for a ball of CO2 to smack your clean in the face (at least until the New Year period - stay tuned on that front)
- IT'S AMNESIA CLOSING! It just gets done. Drop any other plans and be there
