UK Techno festival Junction 2 takes over Pyramid

A special ten-hour one-off set for Sunday 18 June at Amnesia.

Popular UK festival Junction 2 (J2) is coming to Ibiza, taking over Pyramid at Amnesia on Sunday 18 June.

Widely regarded as its native country's premier Techno multi-dayer, J2 is known for its iconic Bridge stage at Boston Manor Park and impeccable sound quality. Now, it is bringing many of the faces that have catapulted it into the hearts of festivalgoers to Ibiza.

Ben UFO from Hessle Audio, pumping Dax J and Siberian Queen Nina Kraviz have all played huge roles at J2 since its inception. All line up in the Main Room on this special date.

Over on the Terraza, J2 invites some of the most exciting selectors in underground dance music.

Barry Can't Swim and Ceri both make rare Ibiza appearances, while veteran DJs Kerri Chandler and Honey Dijon add a touch of class.

Amnesia regulars Marco Faraone and Hector Couto complete the bill.

Starting earlier than usual at 20:00, the party will roll through for ten hours. That means we get to see the Terraza change from daylight to night and back again. What a transcendental experience that will be.

J2 had already branched out into other territories, including hosting stages at Sonus in Croatia and its own Albanian Riviera adventure, ION Festival. We're thrilled that it has finally made the leap to the White Isle.

Pyramid has other link-ups later in the summer, including Romanian Minimal festival Sunwaves on 2 July. [a:rpia:r] Soundsystem headline on that occasion with support from Praslea.
