This time last year, Ibiza roared back to life after two fallow years. What a release.
You could tell that there was a pent-up amount of pressure waiting to be unleashed, because for the first time ever, multiple opening parties sold out. A combination of moving the International Music Summit to late April and starving clubbers of dancefloors created an insatiable demand.
Much to our delight, 2023 is heading the same way.
Pacha's Grand Opening Party with Solomun on Friday 28 April was the first to run dry, followed not long after by The Signal - Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza*'s joint effort on Saturday 29 April. Gone! Finito! See ya! More will follow suit in the coming days.
It's also worth remembering that, unlike last year, we are two high-capacity parties down. If the same number of people arrive on the island - and all signs point to there being more - demand will really dwarf supply. What is still on sale? (*keep reading to find out how you can still join!)

Let's start with the pinnacle of the weekend, in more ways than one, as we head to the bastion Baluarte de Santa Lucía within the walls of Dalt Vila (Ibiza's Old Town) for our annual season kick-off.
Just like every year, the outdoor IMS Grand Finale is our first big party of summer featuring a stacked bill. We'll never get bored of it and look forward to getting our fix every time without fail.

Before its main summer programme starts, Amnesia's Sunday night gets an early season run-out. Pyramid party favourite and back-to-back specialist Luciano pairs with Romanian Arapu, while across in the Main Room, it's more full-bodied Techno with Amelie Lens and company.

Defected opening party | Eden

Things are far from quiet on the other side of the island either, as Defected gets underway at its San Antonio base of Eden. A certified banker when it comes to a good night out, we are buzzin' about its return. Its equalised dancefloor and widespread appeal is a huge win factor, catering to everybody whether a newbie or well-versed. It's all about House!

AH-HA! You know we said this was sold out already, well it kind of is and kind of isn't.
The reason being, Hï Ibiza has just added some sunrise passes. These tickets grant access from 06:00 AM onwards on the morning of Sunday 30 April. That's enough time to catch the last (and best) six hours of clubbing.
We think some of the biggest names on the bill will be reserved for this period. C'mon, who wants to dance all the way to midday?

Club Chinois Grand Opening Party

Okay, so technically Club Chinois has been open every weekend since Easter, including the official IMS Grand Finale after-party on Friday. However, this is the big sparkly curtain-raiser for summer in opulent Ibiza Marina. Glam crowd, a great sound system, and intimate, classy vibes.

One of the highlights of the weekend takes place in little known-about San Carlos in Ibiza's north. The hippy hangout is the perfect setting for Damian Lazarus to celebrate 20 years at the forefront of underground dance music with his Crosstown Rebels label.
Tickets are very cheap at only €15 plus a small booking fee. This will be superb.
