Preparing to welcome us to well-to-do Ibiza Marina once again in 2023 is sumptuous nightspot Club Chinois. The Grand Opening Party lands on Sunday 30 April, closing down Ibiza's opening weekend in stylish fashion.
Last year's unveiling was strictly invite-only. By contrast, this year will be an open invitation to everybody. We'll be bringing you news of the star-studded line-up as soon as the info is ready.
The end of April is still over a month away. Fortunately, we don't have to wait quite that long to get a taste and feel.
Club Chinois opens every weekend and public holiday throughout April. The pre-season parties start with a bumper programme over the Easter break. These then continue Friday and Saturday nights up to International Music Summit week.
Two parties familiar with Club Chinois are La Troya and BOHO.
Fabulously flamboyant La Troya spent the latter half of last summer in Ibiza Marina and immediately made itself at home. BOHO Experience, the jewel in the crown of the event line-up at Beachouse, gets its first Full Moon Reunion of the season.
New internal promotion In House also gets an early season run-out. In House balances hidden gems from the past with forward-thinking tunes and will showcase international DJs alongside some very special guests.
Another is UNUM Festival, which has capitalised on the adoption of electronic music in emerging territory Albania.
Legendary label and party series Renaissance and nomadic island-based outfit Keep On Dancing complete the series. You can find full details of all six parties here.
Also getting a good run-out is the Johannes Goller-made TRIP, which previously hosted a handful of parties at Club Chinois late last summer. Focusing on the early and late season, TRIP starts with 8, 14 and 21 April. Further dates to be announced soon.
Then as we enter the week of the conference, the IMS Opening Party takes place on Wednesday 26 April, followed by the IMS Grand Finale After Party on Friday 28 April.
