528 Ibiza to host night one of BBC Radio 1 Dance Live 2023

First wave of artists also confirmed for Benimussa Hills on Friday 28 July.

BBC Radio 1 already gave us a nice and early heads-up about this year's Dance Live dates, but now more information has come to light. Night one will take place at 528 Ibiza on Friday 28 July.

Furthermore, the first wave of confirmed artists is FISHER, Patrick Topping, Hannah Wants, Eats Everything and LP Giobbi, as well as Danny Howard.

Also confirmed, is that there will be four stages of music.

BBC R1 Dance, Radio 1 Dance Anthems, R1 Relaxed and BBC Introducing all take care of business.

Launching in 2021 on the outskirts of San Antonio in Benimussa Hills, 528 is an all-singing, all-dancing cabaret and fine-dining concept.

Although it hosted outdoor DJs and music performances last year, it had focused its entertainment away from parties with full-on dancefloors until now.

528's biggest event to date was last August's leaked Robbie Williams gig.

This news is the first confirmed dance music party at the venue since it was known as Benimussa Park. Makes you wonder what else 528 has planned for the forthcoming summer?

With four music stages on offer, that's certainly more like the Zoo Project set-up of old. We're sure there's plenty more to come, including Radio 1's plans for 29 and 30 July.

Once announced, everything Ibiza 2023 related will be published straight to our magazine.
