It is with great joy that we can officially announce that the national mask mandate is finally to be lifted!
In its latest bulletin, the national government has ratified that, with effect from Wednesday 20 April, masks will no longer be required to be worn in building interiors, such as shops, leisure facilities and clubs.
Masks will only remain compulsory on public transport, in chemists, health centres and in old people’s retirement homes. It is likely this sensible rule will remain for the foreseeable future.
We sincerely hope that this is the last time we have to report on matters of public health and that we can get back to enjoying a normal summer season, which is just about to EXPLODE.
See you on beaches. See you in the campo. See you on the streets. And…. see you on the dancefloor!
