Offering two public holidays and a weekend side-by-side, it's little wonder that Easter is attractive proposition to those party-inclined. That's no less true on Ibiza. While we wait for the super-clubs to open at the end of April, Akasha in the north of Ibiza has us well catered until then.
Since late February, the new club at Las Dalias in San Carlos, has been a party hub for locals at weekends.
As the first waves of 2022 tourists begin to arrive, Akasha's programme picks up the pace - right in time for Easter weekend.
Maundy Thursday 14 April | KUNYE | Shimza & guests
After lighting up London last weekend, Shimza brings his KUNYE event label to Akasha for its debut on Ibiza. Embodying the colour and unity of his South African homeland, KUNYE seeks to amplify the culture on an international stage.

Earthy, organic tones under muted lighting and against the backdrop of Akasha's natural decor - an irresistible combination of acoustics and aesthetics.
Saturday 16 April | Oceanvs Orientalis
Saturday night sees the venue stretch it's sonic identity with a unique headliner. Oceanvs Orientalis is an electronic music oddity impossible to pigeon-hole.
Sometimes a solo act, othertimes a multi-person band, the project by Safak Ozkutle is best described as a musical idea as opposed to an artist.
Transforming irregular local rhythms into 4/4 electronic beats, this live act draws on eastern influences and the natural history of mankind. Attendees should expect a true musical journey, with ethno vibes and instrumentation from Sefak's native Turkey.
Still nonplussed? Perhaps this video of a live performance will help you better understand.
Easter Sunday 17 April | Ethereal
Easter Sunday is all about new beginnings. With the tourist and clubbing season about to launch, Akasha is the bridge that crosses winter into summer.
The culmination of the extended weekend sees Las Dalias favourite Ethereal returns. The party that fuses art, performance and music taps into the hippy lifestyle that San Carlos is famous for.
A party that welcomes children of all ages, Ethereal invites notable DJs Aracil and Iban Mendoza alongside violinist Mary Bland. Further support comes from Maricha and Edoardo Marvaso.
If you're lucky enough to be here just before the season kicks-off proper, get yourself to Akasha for a night out.
Tickets for all four parties, as well as the rest of Akasha's springtime programme, can be picked up below.
