Home of the world’s most iconic sunset, Café Mambo is reaching out to all Chill Out DJs for a chance to play the golden hour this September.
To participate in the competition, European-based DJs are being invited to upload a 30-minute mix to Mixcloud and tag it #CafeMamboAbsolutDJCompetition.
One lucky winner and a friend will be flown out to Ibiza for three nights, during which they will get to DJ from the hallowed booth.
Those who enter will be judged by Café Mambo’s resident DJs including Jason Bye, Andy Baxter, Danny O and Sara de Araújo.
Factors taken into consideration will include the number of plays (minimum 50 to be shortlisted), positive feedback, originality, suitability for a sunset set, track selection and the artist's online visibility.
Aside from the set and a pair of return flights within Europe, the winners will also claim daily breakfast for the duration of their stay, accommodation at a Grupo Mambo property, access to Las Mimosas Boutique Hotel & Spa and airport transfers.
There will also be opportunity for one-on-one mentoring from one of Mambo's established residents. Entries must be submitted by 31 August.
